Dear Friend,
It's been an interesting month for social media and nit wit behavior. Twitter seems to be the venue of choice these days for hitting the enter key too fast. From Chrysler dropping the F-bomb, the Red Cross talking about #gettingslizzard
, Kenneth Cole using the crisis in Cairo to sell merchandise, to Gilbert Gottfried, the voice of the Aflac duck, joking about tsunamis when an abundance of Aflac customers are in Japan (he's fired), we've got some doozies on our hands. However, our favorite is Courtney Love, who is paying a pretty steep stupid tax for tweeting some nasties. For more on Ms. Love, read this month's article Does Courtney Love Twitter Still?
Spring is here. Enjoy!

Client Spotlight: Shelton State Community College
Shelton State Community College, with roots that go back as far as 1952, is part of a state system of public colleges in Alabama. The Tuscaloosa campus has an enrollment of 8,286 students with degree plans including the Associate in Science degree and the Associate in Applied Science degree. Home of the 2011 ACCC Men's Basketball Champions, Shelton State features an athletic department including baseball, softball, and men's and women's basketball.
Much like coordinating a pep rally, In10sity was charged with redesigning and organizing the new Shelton State website, which includes well over 1,000 pages. The key to success for the faculty and staff at SSCC was to gain a beautiful, easy-to-use website that could be administered internally. In fact, 99% of the website is updatable by the faculty, which includes each staff member having their own class pages for easy file and curriculum uploads. With all the activity in the athletics department, keeping rosters and schedules up-to-date is now a snap. From photo galleries to video, this media rich website puts the college in the driver's seat.

Adobe vs. Apple…we have a winner!
"What we’ve got here is…failure to communicate.”
-The Captain, Cool Hand Luke
In one corner, you have a well known company, famous for making desktop and server software, web design programs, video editing software and one of the most widely known and used formatting programs in the world. In the other corner, you have an even more widely known company who has gone from being an upstart to falling on tough times, only to see themselves rise like Phoenix from the ashes to become one of the hottest brands on the planet, known for innovation and inspiration and a cult-like following for their products.

Does Courtney Love Twitter Still?
Or, “How to Lose $430,000 Dollars in 140 Characters or Less.”
Oh, Courtney, you BAD girl! Don’t you know it’s uncool to say nasty things about other people on twitter, especially if they are untrue? To borrow from Britney Spears, “Oops, you did it again.” On March 4th, Ms. Love settled her lawsuit brought by fashion designer Dawn Simorangkir for accusing Ms. Simorangkir of theft and having a criminal background via her twitter account. According to the Associated Press, the settlement is $430,000 plus interest. Heck, that doesn’t even include the attorney fees. ¡Ay, caramba!
